Free The Captives Christmas Market

Hi Readers!

Free the Captives is a faith-based, anti-human trafficking non-profit that fights the exploitation and trafficking of Houston’s youth. They engage and mobilize the Christian community while partnering with non-profits, law enforcement, and government agencies in the fight against modern day slavery.
You can read more about the organization here.

I’m privileged to get to have a Jamberry booth at their Annual Christmas Market this year and will donate 15% of my proceeds to Free the Captives.
If you would like to do some Christmas shopping but can’t make it to my booth at the market, you can shop here, and pick “Free the Captives Christmas Market” at checkout and I will add your purchase to my event total and donate 15% of your pre-tax total!

Spooky Boo-tique

So I’ve been invited back to have a Jamberry booth at the Boo-tique at Spooky Spaghetti today!

Love is in the Air

Here’s my latest mani, it’s called Love Spell.

It’s going to last way past Valentine’s Day, AND stand up to all the housework I’m doing between now and then!

Nails that hold up to housework!

Love Spell

The day before Valentine’s Day my husband and I are going to get to go to a gala, it’s a fundraiser for Casa El Buen Samaritano.

I made my first ever Jamberry Silent Auction Basket:

Heart Health Awareness

Jamberry came out with a Heart Health Awareness wrap, and they are donating $2 for each sheet that is sold to the American Heart Association. AND it’s gorgeous!

The gift that keeps on giving

Wow, it’s already time for another post! Why so soon? Well, the last post I wrote a few days AFTER I did my nails. But also, I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 40 people this week and decorated for Christmas. All of that was extremely hard on my nails, so they only lasted 8 days, instead of their usual 12. Actually they could have gone a couple of more days, but I wanted my nails to look great for the party today that I mentioned in the last post. Blah-blah, I can see why they call these things blogs….

Jamberry Nail Wraps - Punchy Puff

Punchy Puff

It’s Punchy Puff with a Teal Sparkle (discontinued) accent nail.
The Punchy Puff was given to my daughter as a gift and she’s done her nails, her friend’s nails, and now I’ve done mine and there’s still quite a bit left! Probably enough for two more manicures! So you see, Jamberry Nails is a very economical way to do your nails! They cost $15 a sheet, but you get lots of use out of each sheet!

Goodbye Teal Sparkle / Hello Holiday Season!!

Here’s my latest mani using up one of my favorites, Teal Sparkle. Unfortunately it has been discontinued.

The new Jaded is a pretty close match I think.

Goodbye Teal Sparkle!

Teal Sparkle has been replaced by Jaded

I’m holding some Christmas Decorations, which we have put up this weekend.

Speaking of Christmas: My friend Kelli, who blogs here, is hosting a Christmas Shopping Party in her home this coming Saturday.  There’s also going to be a Mary Kay Consultant and a Premier Designs Jewelry Consultant. All the consultants are donating party of their proceeds to charity. I’m giving half of my commission from that party to Heart of Hope, which is a Cambodian NGO that seeks to educate children to keep them from being at risk of being trafficked.

Come and do some Christmas shopping if you’re in the Houston area! E-mail Kelli to find out about the time and location, or click here to do some shopping online. Don’t forget to pick “Kelli’s Christmas Shopping Party” at checkout!

What I’m wearing to the Spooky Spaghetti Fundraiser

Good morning friends!

It’s the day of the Spooky Spaghetti Fundraiser at Mark Twain, and I’m dressing up as a tall chilled coffee beverage from a famous coffee company.

I did my nails with White Tip and a couple of White Romance accent nails on each hand:

My outfit for the Spooky Spaghetti Fundraiser

This picture is more about the outfit than about the nails I guess….
You can see better pictures of the same nail wraps in my posts Finally something not so colorful and French Tips.

Orders to benefit the fundraiser can be placed online through October 31st, just don’t forget to select “Spooky Boo-tique” at checkout!
