I’ve used up scraps from last year’s Vaentine’s special last night.
Valentine’s Day Nails
It was hard not to cut into my new sheet of Hearts Aplenty, but I wanted to keep it to have at parties this week for my cash and carry stash.
In other news, my bestie Mandy just came back from 10 days in the bush in Africa, and here’s a picture of her nails after the trip. She did her nails 2 days before she left:

Are Jamberry Nails amazing, or are they amazing?!
In this picture I’m wearing the December Sisters’ Style:
December Sisters’ Style
Festive huh? It’s not available anymore unfortunately.
What IS available now are the new Heart Health Awareness nail wraps:
Jamberry donates $2 for every “Love Is Why” and every “From the Heart” wrap purchased to the American Heart Association!

Growing up in Switzerland I had never heard of particular colors being associated with Christmas. Our tree growing up had clear glass ornaments and cookies hanging on it. We also had real candles and the options there were white and yellow. The yellow ones smelled good, because they were made from beeswax. Anyway, the idea of red and green being Christmas colors has slowly grown on me and this year I’ve put Tinsel Poinsettia on my nails and as a result have been wearing more red clothes and gold jewelry than I normally do.

Also, for the first time ever I did my toddler’s fingernails, so far I had only done her toes.
Cute huh? They are from the Jamberry Juniors line, called Fox Trot. The tiniest wraps fit her pinky perfectly.
My latest mani is Into The North, and it fits with heading North for Thanksgiving into the country, don’t you think?

Free the Captives is a faith-based, anti-human trafficking non-profit that fights the exploitation and trafficking of Houston’s youth. They engage and mobilize the Christian community while partnering with non-profits, law enforcement, and government agencies in the fight against modern day slavery.
You can read more about the organization here.
I’m privileged to get to have a Jamberry booth at their Annual Christmas Market this year and will donate 15% of my proceeds to Free the Captives.
If you would like to do some Christmas shopping but can’t make it to my booth at the market, you can shop here, and pick “Free the Captives Christmas Market” at checkout and I will add your purchase to my event total and donate 15% of your pre-tax total!
I get to have a booth there, but you can support the cause by shopping online too!
Faux Fox and Fox Trot
Here’s a picture of my daughter’s hand and my hand wearing Fox Trot and Faux Fox respectively. And the sheets are in the picture too, so you can see how much is left!
And here’s a picture of my left hand after helping my friend Kelli, about whose farmhouse flip you can read here, paint the walls with KILZ. KILZ is a primer that will ruin any manicure other than Jamberry nail wraps, and so would most other construction projects:
I got some KILZ on my manicure
AND was able to clean it back off!
I actually went back and helped over there some more since then, and my mani is still alive and well!
So I’ve been invited back to have a Jamberry booth at the Boo-tique at Spooky Spaghetti today!
Spooky Spaghetti is a Halloween themed fall fundraiser at my kids’ elementary school.
I’m very excited to share Jamberry with our community and I will give 15% of everyone’s pre-tax and pre-shipping total back to the Mark Twain PTO!
Spooky Spaghetti – Fall Fundraiser
Come see me there and try on a free sample!
Orders can be placed online through October 31st, just don’t forget to select “Spooky Boo-tique” at checkout!
Today’s mani is called Midnight Celebration, it’s one of my all time favorites that I already wrote about in a post last year called As pretty as I imagined.
This blog is really about Jamberry Nail Wraps and about how easy to do and fun to wear they are, BUT I just have to show off me new necklace storage place:
I got a 24×30 canvas (the premium kind, because I needed it to be extra deep) at Michael’s, and modpodges a poster I already had on it. Then the hubs got a couple of door hinges at Lowe’s and mounted the picture to the wall for me. How do you like my peachy bathroom?
We moved this past week and my last manicure took a beating when I used Magic Erasers to clean over at our old house. They are truly magical and I had to take a couple of wraps off immediately. Since all my Jamberry stuff was all packed up, I ended up applying the next set of nail wraps using Barbara Gage’s stash. She was using them last spring already and introduced me to Jamberry by giving me my first sheet, Lotus. Thanks Mom!
Anywhooooo, so this is a discontinued wrap and I don’t even know it’s name! I’m holding some iced coffee and tried to get my new kitchen paint color in there as well.
Garden Party – Flowery Jamberry Nail wraps
If you’d like to see all the Jamberry nail wraps that are floral inspired, you can go check out the Garden Party section of the website.
Today’s mani is another using-up-scraps mani. The wrap is called Queen Anne and has been discontinued. I think a similar look could be achieved by layering Whisper, White Romance, or Chantilly over a coat of Red Currant Jamberry Professional Nail Laquer.
I’m holding a sample from our new countertops we’re getting in the picture. It’s heavy, I think that’s why my skin might be so red. Clearly I should take a photoshop class. I’ll put it on the list…..
Goodbye Queen Anne!
On the diametrically opposed end of the spectrum of things you might want to decorate our nails with, Jamberry now has licensed the Undertow Camo design! There’s Undertow Blue, and Undertow Camo to choose from, as well as Muddy Girl Camo, and Muddy Girl Pink.
