Wow, summer is almost over and we’ve settled into our new home.
My latest project was reupholstering the booth that came with our house.
AND when I did my nails yesterday with Sunny Lotus again, it turned out to match the project, so here’s a picture of that:
Sunny Lotus – one of my all time favorite wraps!
The Fall catalog is coming out soon and with the announcement of that Jamberry came out with the Going, Going, GONE! list. It lists all the wraps that are going to be discontinued on August 31st. Make sure you get your favorites while they are available!
Going going GONE, order your favorites wraps before August 31st!
We moved this past week and my last manicure took a beating when I used Magic Erasers to clean over at our old house. They are truly magical and I had to take a couple of wraps off immediately. Since all my Jamberry stuff was all packed up, I ended up applying the next set of nail wraps using Barbara Gage’s stash. She was using them last spring already and introduced me to Jamberry by giving me my first sheet, Lotus. Thanks Mom!
Anywhooooo, so this is a discontinued wrap and I don’t even know it’s name! I’m holding some iced coffee and tried to get my new kitchen paint color in there as well.

This week’s manicure is in preparation for the 4th of July, which has come to be one of my favorite holidays. It always reminds me of how I came to be a US citizen, and I’m so very proud and thankful to get to be a part of this great nation!
So for this picture of Patriot, I went and got out my Naturalization Certificate:
Stars and Stripes Forever!
I hope you guys all have a happy and safe 4th of July!
Mermaid Tales – it matches Grandma’s powder room wallpaper. Weird.
Today’s mani is Sunny Lotus, and as the story usually goes: I didn’t think I’d like the color, but I do! And it’s definitely very summer-y.
In the picture you can see why I’ve been keeping my nails so short recently: I’ve started playing the double bass. It’s a childhood dream coming true and I’m loving it.
Hi Readers! Today’s mani is not for sale, because it was a reward for achieving the rank of Lead Consultant.
I wouldn’t have picked this color myself, but now it’s kind of growing on me!
Lead Consultant Wrap
Please contact me to find out more about joining Jamberry Nails as an Independent Consultant.
“Should I sell Jamberry?” is what you may be asking yourself. If you love the product and intend to buy it and use it, then the answer is YES! Becoming a Jamberry Independent Consultant is worth it just for the discount and for all the things that come with your new consultant kit pictured below:
Jamberry New Consultant Starter Kit
Included in your kit is also 3 month of free use of a professional website. Should you decide that you “only” want to be a hobbyist after 3 months, you can just let that expire and still enjoy buying Jamberry nail wraps for friends and family at a discount.
But my guess is that after 3 months you’ll have such great time AND made money to keep you hooked and wanting to grow your new business more!
Here’s my latest manicure, Vintage Deco, a wrap that has sadly been discontinued. In case you’re a fan of the pattern more than the color, there are some other options: Bright Deco (available in matte finish too) and Faded Deco.
I used some white nail polish as an accent nail.

Wow, it’s already time for another post! Why so soon? Well, the last post I wrote a few days AFTER I did my nails. But also, I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 40 people this week and decorated for Christmas. All of that was extremely hard on my nails, so they only lasted 8 days, instead of their usual 12. Actually they could have gone a couple of more days, but I wanted my nails to look great for the party today that I mentioned in the last post. Blah-blah, I can see why they call these things blogs….
It’s Punchy Puff with a Teal Sparkle (discontinued) accent nail.
The Punchy Puff was given to my daughter as a gift and she’s done her nails, her friend’s nails, and now I’ve done mine and there’s still quite a bit left! Probably enough for two more manicures! So you see, Jamberry Nails is a very economical way to do your nails! They cost $15 a sheet, but you get lots of use out of each sheet!
Well, I finally did it: I gave my other daughter (16 months old) her first “pedicure”, using scraps of Teal Mini Polka from some leftover sample sheets.
Instead of following the regular application instructions, I just stuck them on and trimmed the edge AND her nails with clippers. Then I activated the adhesive with a warm rice bag.
